Soell system

Soell is the star that Threshold, Basis, and Installation 04 orbit.[1] The star seems to be located near the rim of the Milky Way.[2][3][4]
Trivia
- The system is named in reference to Matt Soell, a former Bungie employee.[5]
- Prior to Halo: Combat Evolved's release, it was speculated that Soell is actually the star Iota Horologii, based on hints from Bungie that the star was somehow connected to the game's story, specifically a sign left in front of the Bungie Webcam.[citation needed]
