The sealant mesh is a Covenant medical technology.[1] The mesh is described as a thin sheet of bronze-colored material that, when properly affixed, will form a partial seal over wounds (allowing air to escape as the wounded person exhales but keeping it in when the person inhales). The mesh also contains a coagulant that will help keep the wounded person's blood inside their body.[1]
