Pelican 096 was a UNSC D79-TC Pelican attached to the UNSC Infinity.[2]
Operational history
In the aftermath of the Battle of Earth, Pelican 096 was sent to search the debris field of the Mantle's Approach. After an unspecified amount of time, it found SPARTAN John-117 floating in the wreckage. The dropship recovered him and returned him to the Infinity, where he was saluted by the ship's crew.
