- "Infinity Actual? Pelican Nine Sixer. We found him."
- — Pelican 096 to Thomas Lasky, confirming John's rescue.
Pelican 096 was a UNSC D79-TC Pelican attached to the UNSC Infinity.[2]
Operational history[edit]
In the aftermath of the New Phoenix Incident, Pelican 096 was sent to search the debris field of the Mantle's Approach. After an unspecified amount of time, it found SPARTAN John-117 floating in the wreckage. The dropship recovered him and returned him to the Infinity, where he was saluted by the ship's crew.
