The Joyride Halo 2 Series 1 action figures were manufactured by Joyride Studios. They were released in October 2004. All the figures are based off the characters from Halo 2. This series is the first Halo 2 series released.

Sets[edit]

Master Chief[edit]

The Master Chief Version 3 action figure is based off of John-117, the main protagonist in the Halo trilogy. It features 23 points of articulation and is armed with a Battle Rifle, SMG, and Magnum. The magazine can come out of both the Magnum and Battle Rifle, and the stock of the SMG is removable.

This figure is best known in the popular Halo 3 machinima, Arby 'n' the Chief, made by Jon Graham.

Brute[edit]

The Brute action figure is based off of the Brutes in the game. This figure was the first Brute figure made by Joyride Studios. It is armed with a Brute Shot.

Warthog[edit]

The Halo 2 Warthog Version 1 is based off the M12G1 Light Anti-Armor Vehicle, the Gauss Warthog. The figure also includes two mini figures: The Master Chief and a Marine figure, each with 10 points of articulation. The figures can be placed in the driver, passenger, or gunner places. It also includes a Battle Rifle.

Hog[edit]

The Civilian Warthog is basically the same as the regular Warthog, except that it is colored yellow and black and has no turret. You can put Spartan figures in the passenger and driver seats.

Labeling[edit]

On each action figure unit, Joyride has included a serial number, which allows you to find out when the action figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).[1]
