Joyride Studios/Halo 1 Series 3

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

The Joyride Series 3 was made by Joyride Studios. They were released around January 2004. These figures were based on the characters and objects from Halo: Combat Evolved.[1]

Campaign[edit]

Sergeant Johnson[edit]

The Sergeant Johnson action figure was the first Marine action figure made. It has 10 points of articulation, and is armed with an M6D Pistol, MA5B Assault Rifle, and S2 AM Sniper Rifle.

Marine[edit]

There were two different UNSC Marine figures made. Both figures are armed with an M6D Pistol, M90 Shotgun, and S2 AM Sniper Rifle.

  • The first Marine comes in two different variants, one with blond hair and one with red hair. Unlike the other figure, it has a Marine helmet.
  • The second Marine, Sergeant Stacker, includes a Sergeant's hat that is identical to the Sergeant Johnson hat.

Banshee[edit]

The Banshee action figure is based off the Covenant aircraft from the game. It features a 9.5 inch wingspan, an opening cockpit and adjustable stabilizer fins.

It also includes a "mini" Elite that can be placed in the Banshee, and a Grunt with a Plasma Pistol.

Multiplayer[edit]

Blue Spartan[edit]

The Blue Spartan figure is the second multiplayer figure made. It features 14 points of articulation and is armed with an M6D Pistol, MA5B Assault Rifle, and Fuel Rod Gun. The box says it is a Blue Master Chief, although it is a Blue SPARTAN in Mark V armor.

Labeling[edit]

On each action figure unit, Joyride has included a serial number, which allows you to find out when the action figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).[2]
