Green Team was a United Nations Space Command infantry team.
It was composed of SPARTAN-IIs that SPARTAN-051 Kurt was chosen to lead in field exercises before he replaced SPARTAN-034 Sam on Blue Team, which was under SPARTAN-117's leadership. [1]
John-117 remarked that in exercises, his Blue Team was often outmatched by Green Team, often because of Kurt-051's "sixth sense" for danger. SPARTAN-058 (Linda) led Green Team on Sigma Octanus IV.
Green Team participated in the Battle of Jericho VII, where they successfully stalled a Covenant ground advance. Green Team also participated in the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV. [2]
