CINCONI Serin Osman

The Commander-in-Chief of the Office of Naval Intelligence (or CINCONI) is the leading flag officer of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) who serves as the command's administrative and operational director.[1]

Background

While ONI remains a major subordinate command under the UNSC Navy, CINCONI sits on the Security Council with equal stature and privilege to their parent service's chief, the Chief of Naval Operations.[2] CINCONI's office was located in Core 5, a section of HIGHCOM Facility Bravo-6 in Sydney, Australia on Earth.[3] The Department of Colonial Security reports directly to the CINCONI.[4]

History

Admiral Margaret Parangosky served as CINCONI throughout the Insurrection, the Human-Covenant War, and into the opening months of the post-war era.[1] She was eventually succeeded by her protégé, Admiral Serin Osman, a former SPARTAN-II candidate and field agent, by 2557.[2]
