Callisto was originally discovered by Galileo.[1] Joint efforts by Earth's national governments to colonize Callisto, along with the other Jovian Moons, were underway by 2080.[3] In 2170, Callisto was the site of the signing of the Callisto Treaty which officially ended the Interplanetary War.[4] Callisto also eventually became the site of a UNSC naval depot.[2]
26th-century
