Beta Centauri

Beta Centauri is a double star in the constellation Centaurus, that forms one of the points in the Southern Cross constellation. Located 350 light years from Sol, it is the furthest known human colonized system. The system is known for exports and a good vintage of champagne.[1]
Trivia
- It is unusual how far away this colony world is; given the slow velocities UNSC ships can travel in slipspace, it could take several months to reach this system.
