- Acclaimed director Ridley Scott has been announced as the producer for a yet-untitled Halo digital feature created by 343 Industries and Scott Free Productions. This project is separate from the Halo TV series helmed by Stephen Spielberg. Read the announcement HERE.

- Halo: Spartan Assault has been released as of April 4 for Steam. Read the official announcement HERE.
- As of February 4, 343 Industries has closed a multi-book deal with Gallery Books (a division of Simon & Schuster), who will publish all future Halo written fiction; the Pocket Books and Pocket Stars imprints will also publish upcoming works in a variety of print and digital formats.
