The Covenant Supercarrier[1], is a carrier classification in the Covenant star-fleet. They are hypothesized to be the most massive and powerful starships in the Covenant armada. Multiple Supercarriers of the Second Fleet of Homogenous Clarity defended the massive space station of High Charity[2] and one was the flagship of the Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose. [3][4]
Given the Prophets nearly god-like self image, it's surprising that they have not chosen these vessels to be their flagships, instead opting for the somewhat smaller Assault Carrier. The reasoning for this could possibly be that either too few of them exist to be used simply as a means of extravagant transportation or that during the multiple conflicts with the UNSC, all were destroyed including those that had been usurped by the Elite stationed near Joyous Exultation. Only Imperial Admirals or Supreme Commanders are allowed to command these ships, making Supercarriers very rare.
