Summary
Basis is the largest moon orbiting Threshold. The star name of Basis is Soell. The diameter of the moon is 23,848km. Installation 04 was positioned between Basis and Threshold. After Installation 04's destruction, the Covenant Heretics built a makeshift camp on Basis, amid the wreckage from the Alpha Halo.
Threshold was the location of the gas mine,but Basis which was mistaken for the gas mine was the location of the Halo 2 multiplayer level Burial Mounds.In the level you can explore the ruins of installation 04 and can see the ring(half destroyed)and falling debris plus threshold.
On the Silent Cartographer Level, Basis appears to have a face that looks like an angry prophet although they did not appear in game until Halo 2.
