The Wolverine is a United Nations Space Command ground-based anti-aircraft battery in Halo Wars designed to take down Banshees and other airborne Covenant units such as Dropships and Air Artillery. It bares some resemblance to an M2 half-track with missile pods on its rear.
The Wolverine Half-tracked engine, has been choosed for maximising his space-surface deplacement. His two front wheels can ensure the vehicle for a grat speed while the Rear Heavy Rocket-Launcher can be supported by two strong Tracked Ranges. This Wolverine has a Flak Role with his automatic homming littles rockets, but some other similar units was build to be a rockets-artillery fonction, similar than the modern US-MRLS units.
We never see this unit in the others Halo Games, despite the Covenants Earth assault. But this time, this units might has been replaced by other units who doesn't needed a half-tracked system
