A Non-commissioned officer (sometimes noncommissioned officer), also known as an NCO or Noncom, is an enlisted member of the UNSC who has been given authority by commissioned officers. Corporals and all ranks of Sergeant are termed NCOs as are all ranks of Petty Officer.
UNSC Navy NCO Ranks (From lowest to highest pay grades}:
- Petty Officer Third Class
- Petty Officer Second Class
- Petty Officer First Class
- Chief Petty Officer
- Senior Chief Petty Officer
- Master Chief Petty Officer
UNSC Marine Corps NCO Ranks (From lowest to highest pay grades):
- Corporal
- Sergeant
- Staff Sergeant
- Gunnery Sergeant
