The Official Secrets Act is a set of United Nations Space Command regulations that mandate the confidentiality and the nondisclosure of any contents of any Messenger Satchel.[1] The act takes its name from the real life Official Secrets Act of the United Kingdom, the latest version of which was enacted in 1989.

The act was passed on November 23, 2550.[2]

After Tom Muir was taken aboard the ONI prowler Port Stanley, Captain Serin Osman exaggeratively told Muir that even breathing on such a vessel was a breach of the Official Secrets Act.[3]
