To was a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier and a member of Fireteam Jackknife.[1]
Biography[edit]

To was assigned to Fireteam Jackknife, along with Vladimir Scruggs, Naiya Ray, and Newman. In March of 2558, they and Fireteam Bailey were assigned to escort and provide security for Fleet Admiral Terrence Hood and Arbiter Thel 'Vadam on a diplomatic mission to Ealen IV. Fireteam Jackknife watched over the delegation as Fireteam Bailey stayed behind to act as overwatch. While Hood and 'Vadam were negotiating with the Jiralhanae Chieftain Lydus, Covenant mercenaries led by Shipmaster Vata 'Gajat attacked the delegates. Commander Sarah Palmer ordered Jackknife to clear the chamber and help the delegates evacuate. After their evacuation ship was destroyed, the Spartans escorted the delegates to a nearby parts depot.[2]
Inside the depot, the Arbiter informed the party of a redoubt in which they could take refuge. Spartan Naiya Ray left Jackknife to assist Captain Thomas Lasky in reestablishing communications with Infinity. As the party attempted to escape the storage depot, the rest of Jackknife were tasked with ensuring the safety of Lydus and his Jiralhanae bodyguards. Soon after they escape the depot, Jackknife and the alien bodyguards then left the delegates and went ahead to ensure that the redoubt was safe for them to use as shelter. Unbeknownst to all, Vladimir Scruggs was a turncoat working for Daniel Clayton of the New Colonial Alliance. As their party arrived at the redoubt, Scruggs betrayed his team, killing both To and Newman and the Jiralhanae bodyguards.[3] Following Scruggs death at the hands of Commander Palmer, Naiya Ray was left as the last living member of Fireteam Jackknife. After the events on Ealen IV, the Spartans' deaths were commemorated at a memorial service aboard Infinity.[4]
