Three-meter crustaceans

Large crustaceans occupy the labyrinthine caverns covering much of the sea floor of Beta Gabriel. They are a natural food source for Qothal "nightmare eels".[1]
Production notes
It is very likely these crustaceans are the Aleutian Nightcrabs mentioned in the Halo: Campaign Evolved terminal Pillar of Autumn - Approach, as those are described as having legs "at least a meter long".
