Hedge was eventually assigned to lead [[Fireteam Lancer]] aboard the {{UNSCShip|Infinity}}, and as such he traveled with the ship when it deployed to the [[Forerunner]] [[shield world]] known as [[Requiem]] in early [[2558]].<ref name="SOEL"/> The ''Infinity'' departed from [[Earth]] on February 6 and had arrived at the shield world before 0500 hours the next day.<ref name="JS2/6/58">[[Jessica Shea]] on Twitter 02/06/2558 [https://twitter.com/bsangel/status/696003177733206016]</ref><ref name="IBP">''[[Halo 4]]'' ''[[Halo 4 Limited Edition|Limited Edition]]'', [[Infinity Briefing Packet|''Infinity'' briefing packet]]</ref> Relatively near the end of the campaign within the shield world, [[Fireteam Lancer]] was tasked with holding a site known as the [[Apex]]. The discovery of a [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant|Covenant]] [[Warrens|nest]] in the hills nearby prompted Hedge to report in to the ''Infinity''.<ref name="SOEMR">''[[Spartan Ops]]'', ''[[Expendable]]'', ''[[S1/Expendable/Majestic Rescue|Majestic Rescue]]''</ref> Spartan Commander [[Sarah Palmer]] acknowledged his report and subsequently ordered [[Fireteam Crimson]] to assist Lancer in clearing out the enemy from its position.<ref name="SOEL"/><ref name="SOEMR"/> Once Crimson touched down in the area, Hedge and two others from Lancer met up with the team and let it be known that the Covenant forces had hidden shield generators which barred entry into a series of caves with [[active camouflage]]. Once Crimson had dealt with the generators, with assistance from Lancer, Palmer ordered Lancer to follow Crimson inside. Together, the two fireteams launched a coordinated attack on the aliens, which were assisted by mechanical [[Promethean]] constructs. In one of the caves, the Spartans discovered and freed [[Fireteam Switchback]], which had previously been taken prisoner. All three teams were subsequently evacuated on a single [[D79-TC Pelican]].<ref name="SOEL"/>

Like others on Fireteam Lancer, Spartan Hedge armored himself in [[RECRUIT-class Mjolnir|RECRUIT-class]] [[MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor (GEN2)|GEN2 Mjolnir]] during his time within Requiem.<ref name="SOEL"/>
