Forerunner weaponry section[edit]
Is there any reason why this page is under the Forerunner weaponry section? I know that there isn't another place to put this, but it seems more like a defensive mechanism than a weapon. You're thoughts? Weeping Angel 23:44, 14 September 2012 (EDT)

Jackal point defense gauntlet[edit]
On the page for hardlight, it mentions that hardlight was the one technology that the Covenant never successfully reverse engineered. This is sourced by a story in Halo: Evolutions. More than this, it was my understanding that the Jackal's shields are plasma emitted, and then held in shape through a magnetic field.
