Talk:Sandbox Skull (achievement)

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Do we need this page? None of the other skulls have their own pages.- Omar-065

It's the only skull that can't be summed up in one sentence. Dreaddraco2 21:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

couldnt you just be cheap about it and overload the map? or does the skull despawn or something when you do that?--12.216.5.255 04:19, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Overloading the map removes the skull. Dreaddraco2 13:13, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Alternate strategy[edit]

Using the monitor, its possible to dodge the Guardians laser fire. Just hold down left trigger and juke left and right while going up and down. Drop a two-way teleport as close to the skull as possible. Teleport through and drop a bubble shield and you have plenty of time to pick up the skull. 68.47.237.149 05:20, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Trip Mine Glitch[edit]

"The Sandbox skull is the only skull to appear even after a map has been overloaded." Not true. I've tried this with someone who didn't get the skull and we couldn't find it after the map was overloaded. 71.170.30.237 04:30, 14 April 2009 (UTC)dddd

Methods of Retrieval[edit]

I find the constant editing of the article over methods of acquiring the skull pointless and annoying. There are dozens of maps that can help you get it, along with just as many strategies. I feel that it should just be summed up and put to rest, rather than there being [possibly biased] opinions on easy ways to acquire it. Anyone agree? XRoadToDawnX 00:11, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Simpler Location[edit]

Instead of having something like "the skull is between the two towers on the left" or "south west when holding an AR" (neither are direct quotes), I think it'd be easier to just say that the skull is in the very back of the guardian zone directly behind red base. (go ahead and check if you need confirmation on that) 70.119.157.33 02:37, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Possibly the easiest way[edit]

(Hence i just did this)

Go to theatre. Find the location of the skull. Then go into forge and then go into edit mode. Go as close to the barrier as you are allowed before you get blown up. Then get a corner peice and then drop it. Go inside the corner and then pick it up and walk over to the skull. It acts like a shield. Then when you are just a meter away from the skull, stop and drop the corner and go into playable mode and grab the skull. So simple! :D Kranitoko 12:26, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

I should read before I write. Just seen somebody has mentioned this. Sorry :P Kranitoko 12:37, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
