Sorry to break this to you, but that diagram was made by a fan - so it is fanon. A pinch reactor was never mentioned in the books (to my knowledge), although it certainly makes sense to me that the Covenant would use one. this is not fan-fic[edit]

like the guy said its being disputed today! and somthing like this should be left on halopedia not deleted just because the user may have made this! up well he didnt he stated that the CSS-Class Battlecruiser had it. and if all you need to do is post this:

[1]

Then at the bottom of the page put this:

Sources[edit]

then why dont you just post this? no reason going about deleting things without sources or refrences.

--- In the books it is mentioned that covenant ships have engines, not power generators, that use magnetic fields to pinch plasma, not that the engine itself is a pinched plasma drive. This article has some merit, but fanon and original research need to be quarantined if present.

Is this an Image of a Pinch Fusion reactor?[edit]

The beam of light believed to be an Pinch Fusion reactor on the muliplayer map Assembly.

Is this image I got off of the GameSpy website for Halo 3 a Pinch Fusion reactor? It looks it might be, but I can't really tell for sure. So I need some help in identifying this image, and more importantly, whether or not this really is what I think and I believe is most likely a Pinch Fusion reactor. --Xamikaze330 18:00, 20 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330

Looks to me like it's just an energy beam for holding that big brace up in the air, hard to really say though SPARTAN-347 18:22, 20 December 2011 (EST)
