Speculation[edit]

I'm sorry, but I haven't seen anything that suggested this map takes place on Requiem or near the FUD crash site. This sounds like speculation to me. There are plenty of other ships in the Halo Universe, any one of them could have crashed.--Soul reaper 06:34, 1 September 2012 (EDT)

Well it would make sense given that we know the Infinity crashed in the shield world. However, you are right in saying that nowhere does it say the crashed ship in this map is the Infinity.--Spartacus (Talk | Contribs) 12:32, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Given that some of the old concept art showed what appeared to be a large number of crashed ships, this could be any UNSC ship, as it seems to me there have been others over the years. Alex T Snow 22:57, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
I'm not sure this is on Requiem at all. This image shows what seems to be moon of this unidentified world and so far we haven't heard of Requiem having any moons at all, nor would it make sense for there to be a moon on the inside of a shield world.--Spartacus (Talk | Contribs) 23:00, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
This map might be set on Galgalia near part of the UNSC Daedalus' wreckage. I say "part" because pieces of the ship were scattered across several miles. We know that the UNSC later discovered the crash site and recovered the survivors, so it makes sense that the area could be replicated by the Infinity's training facility. The only hole in this theory is that Exile seems to have normal gravity, unlike Galgalia. Why would 343 Industries create a backstory just for Forza yet exclude said backstory from canon? --Courage never dies. 15:41, 4 September 2012 (EDT)
