Talk:Cooperative play

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

The page seems fine now. WRAITH 21:11, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

In halo 3, is it possible to get the campaign complete awards if it is only done with co-op and not single player? Spartan 107 21:31, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Something to change[edit]

It says in the article that for co-op, who plays as what character is decided randomly, but that is not true. It's whoever signs in first. 1st is MC, 2nd Arbiter, 3rd Ntho and last is the assault elite.

I think its actually the connection host, then the best connection etc. FishType1 16:06, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

co-op[edit]

can you play co-op with 3 players on one console?

Only with a glitch, but the bad news is that if you're in a Cortana Moment then the game freezes. FishType1 16:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Halo wars co-op[edit]

Could someone put in a paragraph for halo wars co-op. I would but I don't have xbox live and I'm really curious how it works in alo wars.

Co-op Methods[edit]

There is a strategy that I use with my friends called the "Two-Way Attack" strategy. Plan is simple: one player distracts the enemy on one angle, whilst the other flanks them on another angle. Usually works as it causes the enemy to split Combining BR fire helps ensure success of this strategy particularly in Crow's nest. Just another example of the methods used.

NOT to be confused with noob combo, completly irrelevant. --CookieMonstersayshello 14:46, 29 April 2011 (EDT)

My brother and I have a similar strategy on Reach. He distracts a powerful elite e.g. Ultra, General. And I move in for the assassination. --Felix-119 14:50, 29 April 2011 (EDT)

Aye, that is quite similar to Two-Way Attack yeah, nice idea. --CookieMonstersayshello 13:11, 30 April 2011 (EDT)

Although the version I do is more about combining marksmanship skill and taking out multiple enemies at a time. Although we do kinda use you and your bro's method when it comes to taking on more powerful covie enemies (in our case: Brute Chieftains as we tend to play Halo 3 more than anything else).
