Childhood
He was conscripted into the Spartan-II Program by Dr. Halsey in 2517. Brought to Reach, he was trained by Déjà, an AI, and Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez, along with other Spartans. He survived the augmentation process, but was not mentioned until the Battle of Reach.
Battle of Reach
He was aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn when the Battle of Reach began. Selected to Red Team under Frederic-104's command to defend the MAC generators, the Spartan was designated Red Fifteen. On the way to the surface their Pelican, Bravo 001, was shot down and Red Team was forced to jump.
