Simon & Schuster is an American publishing company which publishes a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books. In February of 2014, 343 Industries announced that they had entered into a multi-year co-publishing program with Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. Most subsequent Halo novels have been published by Simon & Schuster and its various subdivisions, including Gallery Books and Pocket Star Books. On September 20, 2016, Gallery Books published the short story anthology Halo: Fractures, which includes the print releases of Halo: Saint's Testimony and Halo: Shadow of Intent. On November 28, 2016, they published Kelly Gay's novella Halo: Smoke and Shadow. In 2017, they published the novels Halo: Envoy by Tobias Buckell, Halo: Retribution by Troy Denning, and Halo: Legacy of Onyx by Matt Forbeck.
