Shi Kai Wang is one of the more prominent concept artists for the ''Halo'' franchise, and was one of the main concept artists for ''[[Halo: Combat Evolved]]'' alongside [[Robert McLees]], [[Eddie Smith]] and [[Marcus Lehto]]. He worked extensively on the [[Covenant]] aesthetic, including the alien species, their vehicles and weapons, but also helped coin the designs for [[UNSC]] vehicles, [[UNSC Marine|Marines]] as well as the [[Master Chief]], among several other characters and items. Similarly, he worked on the ''[[Halo 2]]'' Covenant races, the [[Brute]]s and the [[Yanme'e|Drone]]s. Many of his sketches were featured in ''[[The Art of Halo]]'' and he received high praise from other Bungie employees in the book for his work.

==Trivia==
*Shiek has had a [[Wang (Marine)|Marine named after him]] in the [[Halo E3 2000 Trailer]] and a [[Wang (Crewman)|Navy tech named after him]] in the book ''[[Halo: The Flood]]''.
*Wang is referenced in the [[Boat Easter Egg]] on the ''Halo 3'' [[campaign]] level ''[[The Storm]]'', in which there is a poster which reads, "Shiek of the Sea". This is a reference to his nickname, as well as a long-running joke within Bungie that the developer will one day make a game called "Pimps at Sea."
