==Background==
Around [[2550]], Sára was relocated to the [[Visegrád Relay]] along with her father when he began researching a meteorite impact site in [[Visegrád]].{{Ref/Book|Id=journal|Dr. Halsey's personal journal}}

Sára was only one of two survivors of the [[Covenant]] infiltration of Visegrád Relay, with the other survivor being an [[Unidentified Army corporal|injured UNSC Army trooper]].<ref name="winter"/> She hid under the staircase while [[Sangheili Zealot]]s stormed the building and killed her father, and was later found by [[NOBLE Team]]. Sára was unwilling to leave her hiding spot, even attacking [[Jorge-052]] as he tried to console her, but barely managed to tell him that "there's more" before the three Zealots appeared and attacked the Spartans.

Once cleared of Covenant presence, Jorge tended to her side and asked her of the incident, helping her identify with him through their Hungarian heritage. After warming up to him, Jorge and NOBLE escorted her out of the facility.<ref name="winter"/> After the events of the relay she got to speak with [[Catherine Halsey]] about her father.<ref name="journal"/>

During her brief encounter with NOBLE Team, Sára did not appear to speak [[Human languages|English]], instead only speaking [[Human languages|Hungarian]] - the language shared by many of Reach's settlers.{{Ref/Reuse|winter}}

In ''[[Halo: Reach]]'', Sára was originally intended to have a much larger role in the game than her short cameo in the final release. According to [[Isaac Hannaford]], Sára was originally envisioned to fulfill a role for NOBLE Team similar to that of [[Cortana]] in the original ''Halo'' trilogy; a tough, smart and more human character to serve as a science advisor and human foil for the more stoic Spartans. Sára would have additionally had a distrust for [[Catherine Halsey|Doctor Halsey]], with the two having a somewhat antagonistic relationship. In the final game, Sára only has a small role in the penultimate cutscene of the level [[Winter Contingency]], in which she is found hiding from the [[Sangheili Zealot|Elite Zealots]] that have infiltrated the [[Visegrád Relay]].{{Ref/Reuse|winter}} In this brief interaction, she was voiced by Marcella Lentz-Pope.{{Ref/Game|HR|Halo: Reach credits|credits}}
