Project JAVELIN

Project JAVELIN is a program administrated by the United Nations Space Command. It is related to human augmentation and supersoldiers such as the Spartans and Janissaries.
After encountering NOBLE Team on July 27, 2552, Dr. Catherine Halsey surmised in her journal that all but one of the team's personnel might be products of JAVELIN, if not a later generation of the SPARTAN-II program - the latter assumption being correct, unbeknownst to her at the time.[1]
During the battle for Earth in October 2552, a package bearing the logo of a javelin, presumably related to the program, was the subject of an operation by the Beekeepers courier network, which saw it delivered to UNSC forces aboard UNSC Pale Horse. Delivery of the package was entrusted to several former-operatives of the ORION Project, Holden Agryna and Nolan Byrne.[2]
Files related to JAVELIN were among the many Spartan-related projects stolen by Iratus from the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science during the Battle of Nysa in March 2560. Others included projects ORION, ASTER, MELAENO, and YGGDRASIL, Operation: PROMETHEUS, and STOLEN GAUNTLET.[3]
