The Pontiac GTO was a stylish and pioneering American muscle car first introduced in the latter half of the 20th century on Earth. These historic automobiles were originally manufactured from 1964–1974 and helped usher in an era of American high-performance cars.
Human-Covenant War[edit]
Ruwan Ackerson owned and drove a 1967 Pontiac GTO modified with a large air intake and supercharger above the engine block while he lived in Cleveland, Ohio.[2] During the Battle of Cleveland, he and Myras Tyla evaded the Covenant by escaping in Ruwan's red convertible GTO.
