"An inquisitive mind is not heresy. Believe what you are told on the surface, but dig your way down to the truth. Be skeptical. Be analytical. Follow your instincts. If there is doubt, uncover what inspires that doubt. If there is desire to look deeper, pursue that desire. The Covenant is all. But all is not the Covenant."

— 'Oodamee's advice to Seelior 'Andolee

Lindbeda 'Oodamee was an old Sangheili warrior who was secretly a member of the Truthseekers.

Biography

'Oodamee saw the potential in a young Seelior 'Andolee to become a Truthseeker and guided and steered him towards that path. 'Andolee trusted 'Oodamee, valued his closeness and treasured his advice, but as a young Sangheili, not quite understood what he was being told. Another student gave the old warrior away and 'Oodamee was publicly executed for heresy, a slow and painful death. It would only be years later when 'Andolee found his own path that he recognized 'Oodamee for setting him along that route and that the old warrior had been his first encounter with a Truthseeker.
