HRN is a human weapons manufacturer.[1][2]
History
HRN developed the M99 "Stanchion" Special Application Scoped Rifle,[2] which entered production in 2491. HRN ceased production of the M99 Stanchion in 2521.[1] A variant of the M99 called the M99A2S3 Stanchion was also produced by HRN.[2]

On Page 122 of the Halo Graphic Novel, the logo of HRN actually says "HRV" in a old english font,[1] this was later changed to be HRN via a tweet going over the Stanchion,[2] with the logo finally getting changed to say "HRN" outright in Halo: Campaign Evolved on the Stanchion Johnson uses in the prequel missions.
