The GUNGNIR helmet in ''Halo: Reach'' was originally designed by [[Isaac Hannaford]] for ''[[Halo: Chronicles]]'', a ''Halo'' game being developed in conjunction with [[Peter Jackson]] around 2008-2009. In the game, GUNGNIR was intended for use by corporate security forces, though ultimately went unused after the game's cancellation.
