• Operation: CHARLEMAGNE: The Eridanus insurrection is defeated by UNSC forces at the cost of four destroyers. However, the rebel forces remain active in the system, with their command elements escaping into the asteroid belt. The continued rebel activity prompts the UNSC to patrol Eridanus for over a year.
  • January 12: A group of ORION Project operatives attack the rebels in a swift and silent special operation that results in only one casualty for the ORIONs and several crippling losses for the rebels.
