Zhar was a Kig-Yar attached to the Covenant missionary ship, Minor Transgression.

Biography[edit]

He was a crewmember on the ship, the Minor Transgression[1], and was of personal and sexual interest to Shipmistress Chur'R-Yar.[2]

When the human colony planet Harvest was discovered to contain supposed Forerunner relics, later revealed to be Reclaimers, Zhar disabled the Luminary's transmitter on Minor Transgression under the orders of Chur'R-Yar.

He was attacked by UNSC Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson during a raid on a crippled human freighter, known as the Bulk Discount, which was a trap laid for supposed Insurrectionists by the ONI operative Lieutenant Commander Jilan al-Cygni. He attempted to kill the humans with a laser-cutter. Zhar was killed along with his two partners, after being shot in the chest multiple times with an M6 pistol by Johnson.[3]
