Summary

ONI officer. Lieutenant Wagner trained at Reach Naval Academy.

Lieutenant Wagner's Prowler was one of few vessels to escape The Battle of Reach in 2552. He prepared the official report for the UNSC about the fall of planet Reach and was debriefed about it by the Security Council, consisting of Colonel James Ackerson, Fleet Admiral Hood, Major General Nicolas Strauss at HighCom Facility Bravo-6, HIGHCOM's headquarters. He gave them all the information he had, including the escape of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, and the glassing of the planet.

In 2550, he had had almost a third of his body burned away by Covenant plasma. He never screamed or shed a tear, until the briefing, when he discussed the fall of Reach, which was the closest thing he had ever had to a home in the outer colonies.
