The UNSC Armstrong was a warship in service with the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War.[1]
Service history[edit]
Battle for Arcadia[edit]
The UNSC Armstrong participated in the Battle for Arcadia in February 2531, along with the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, the UNSC Texas, the UNSC Belfast, and later the UNSC Spirit of Fire. On February 9, together with the Texas, Belfast, and Pillar of Autumn, the vessel engaged two Ket-pattern battlecruiser designated CCS-U321 and CCS-U624; they were able to catch U321 with its shields down and quickly destroyed it. However, U624 engaged them immediately after, destroying the Texas and Belfast, and severely damaging the Armstrong and Autumn, causing the Armstrong to vent atmosphere.[1]

The ship is likely named after Neil Armstrong, famous astronaut and first man on the moon.
