Little is known about "Team X-ray".[1] They were a team in the Spartan-III Program. They went training near Zone 67 on Onyx where they disappeared after having reported sightings of a "floating eye". It was discovered years later by Kurt, surviving Spartan II and IIIs, Cathrine Halsey and Franklin Mendez that they had encountered the Onyx Sentinels. After their encounter, several were placed inside Forerunner stasis pods. Their pods were later brought to the Dyson Sphere when the other Spartans entered.
