Gallery Books is an imprint of publishing company Simon & Schuster which publishes a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books. In February of 2014, 343 Industries announced that they had entered into a multi-year co-publishing program with Gallery Books.[1] The Halo novels previously had been published by Del Rey and Tor.

Halo

Gallery Books was contracted to publish Halo books following the last novel of Kilo-Five Trilogy, Halo: Mortal Dictata, which was published by Tor Books. The first Halo book to be published by Gallery Books is Halo: Broken Circle, by John Shirley, which was released on November 4, 2014.[2] Working in conjunction with Pocket Star Books, Gallery Books published Halo: New Blood, by Matt Forbeck, a short novel was released on March 2, 2015.[3] Throughout the rest of 2015, Gallery Books published four new novels: Halo: Hunters in the Dark, by Peter David on June 16; Halo: Saint's Testimony, by Frank O'Connor on July 27; Halo: Last Light, by Troy Denning on September 7; and Halo: Shadow of Intent, by Joseph Staten on December 7.[4]
