- In Forerunner, when John-117 fights both Promethean and Covenant forces to reach and activate the pillars.
- In Episode 2, Chapter 5 of Spartan Ops, when Fireteam Crimson is ordered to shut down four power sources of a large Forerunner artifact that Science Team Gagarin activated.
