Physical training, or PT refers to specialized training strategies and methods of exercise undertaken by UNSC soldiers to help develop them for combat.[1]

The Colonial Militia of Harvest underwent physical training for at least two weeks before beginning real live-fire training exercises. Their PT included ten-kilometer runs, and they were later outfitted with twenty-five-kilogram rucksacks strapped to the trainees' backs, once they got used to the routine.[1]
