It held a single ''[[Longsword]]''-class Interceptor/Fighter, which was used by the [[Master Chief]] and [[Cortana]] to escape from halo Installation 04<ref>''[[The Maw (Level)|The Maw]]''</ref>. It also has enough storage capacity for sixteen [[Pelican]] dropships and a large number of M808B Scorpion MBTs and M12 Warthog LRVs. The only known commander opperating from this launch bay was Captain Carol "Foehammer" Rawley.


This Hangar bay can be seen in the last cutscene on the Level "[[The Maw (Level)|The Maw]]", but might be also the one seen at the beginning of the Level "[[Pillar of Autumn (Level)|Pillar of Autumn]]".

Launch Bay 7 was a hangar bay on the Halcyon-class cruiser UNSC Pillar of Autumn. During the closing stages of the Battle of Installation 04, the bay held a single GA-TL1 Longsword interceptor, which the Spartan John-117 and AI Cortana used to escape Installation 04.[1][2]
