Installation 04 is the third track in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary: Original Soundtrack.
Overview
The track opens with the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary of the Halo Theme Gregorian chant. followed by an arrangement of the Halo Theme string melody variation in the track Truth and Reconciliation Suite from Halo: Original Soundtrack. However, instead of ending with the low string solo, the section ends with a reprise of the Gregorian chant overlaid with the twinkling effects from the later track Still, Moving. The track the ends with Siege of Madrigal.
Appearances
The track plays in place of Truth and Reconciliation Suite in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary:
- In the campaign level The Silent Cartographer, during the opening cinematic of the level and continues into the gameplay sequence afterwards, but fades out midway.
- The full piece plays in the level The Maw, during the final chapter in which John-117 escapes the UNSC Pillar of Autumn on a Warthog afterEcho 419 is shot down.
