Recon Team India was a unit of the UNSC Marine Corps contingent aboard the UNSC Spirit of Fire in 2531.[1] It was comprised of one M312 Elephant and two-four man Marine fireteams. Its sister unit was Recon Team Echo.
The team was awakened by Serina for the liberation of Harvest.[2] It later fought during the Battle of the Etran Harborage on February 23rd, 2531. Unfortunately, during the battle Team India was overrun and absorbed by the Flood. When Sergeant Forge came searching for theirs and Echo's location, he declared both Recon Teams compromised.
