Hangar bay

A Hangar Bay is a large room built to store fighters, troop transports, and other equipment that are on board a ship or space station. How many fighters and troop transports that fit in the Hangar Bay depends on the size of the bay and the size of the ship or station. Almost every Covenant or UNSC ship had a Hangar Bay. Ships that had the largest Hangar Bays usually were identified as carriers; such as the Assault Carrier, Shadow of Intent. Usually, the Hangar Bay of a ship is located in the middle or the back of a ship.[1][2][3]
Trivia
- Shadow of Intent's Hangar Bay is large enough to fit the entire frigate, UNSC Forward Unto Dawn.
- On Sandtrap if you manage to get out of the map in Theater and go into UNSC Aegis Fate you can go in the Hangar Bay and the inside is detailed.
