The Halo Wars: Definitive Edition Early Access was early access to the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, which ran from December 20, 2016 to Halo Wars 2's launch.[1]

Overview[edit]

Early access opened on December 20, 2016. Players could access it by downloading it by pre-ordering the digital version of Halo Wars 2. This testing was to ensure the game was ready for launch when Halo Wars 2 releases.[1]
