Shortly after Gabriela Castenadas death, her brain was used as the basis for the creation of the "smart" artificial intelligence Gabriela, the AI assigned to UNSC Promise of Dawn during the Human-Covenant War; and later Outpost Discovery, created in the later years after the war.[1][2] Admiral Castenada's record is available to the public.[2]
