The Chief of Staff is an office held by the highest-ranking individual within the Spartan Operations branch of the United Nations Space Command's Armed Forces.[1] As of 2558, the acting Chief of Staff is Jun-A266, who also serves as the head recruiter for the branch and serves directly under Rear Admiral Musa-096. Jun holds the office as a civilian despite having technically retired from service.[2] Unlike other service chiefs within the Armed Forces, the Chief of Staff of the Spartan branch does not appear to hold a seat on the UNSC Security Council.[3]
