Template:Ship Class Infobox The Charon-class light frigate [1] was an escort ship type in-service with the UNSC Navy used throughout the Human-Covenant War. Ships of this class were used primarily in fleet escort duties, planetary defense, and well suited with their enlarged hangar bay for Marine Corps expeditionary warfare.
