The Callisto Treaty was the peace treaty signed in March 2170, bringing an official end to the Interplanetary War.[1] After the last vestiges of the Koslovic and Frieden forces were apprehended, their surviving commanders formally surrendered to the United Nations.[2] Penned by the United Nations, the Callisto Treaty served as a ceasefire agreement that gave the United Nations Space Command complete military jurisdiction across all human colonies. The aftermath of the treaty's ratification would see the Unified Earth Government becoming a full-fledged governing entity. The treaty was signed on the Jovian moon Callisto, hence its name.[1] Following the ratification of the Callisto Treaty, remaining Koslovic revolutionaries were put down in harsh crackdowns on Mars.[3]
